Aerial Observatory

Montreuil, a city at the border of Paris, owns a very interesting agricultural patrimony the «murs à pêches», a maze of clay walls use to grow apples and peaches in the 1950’s.
This historical patrimony is starting to disappear, therefore the goal of this project was to offer an aerial observatory on the patrimony to sentisize the people of the area to their neighborhood.

A serie a wood ramps are circulating along abandonned buildings, offering panoramic view points on the «murs à pêches». The angle of those rampes are playing with the speed of the walk and create a rythm on the promenade.
A cider brewery is located on site, to remind the agriculture history of the site and offers a outdoor space for the locals to gather around an fresh and organic cider.
